Light at the End of the Tunnel
There’s always light, even in our darkest, most difficult moments. Right now you might not be able to see it but I promise it’s there, waiting like a patient friend. Right now your eyes simply cannot accept the light, for it pains them even to see it. As the pain begins to fade and your eyes adjust, you can find it. It’s not far away. Don’t despair that right now you cannot find it. When you are ready, the light will be there. It’s never pushy or demanding, like the dark can often be. The light knows that you have been pushed to a breaking point and that is why you feel so surrounded by the dark, but when you are ready the light will be there, waiting to wrap you within it’s warmth for as long as you can stay with it. And when you inevitably fall into a dark moment again, the light will still remain, right where you left it, waiting for you to be ready to come back.
