Spirituality vs Religion

meditateSo the very best and longest standing conversation EVER on my personal Facebook page began with this question I’m about to pose to all of you. I will approve comments as quickly as I can if you choose to leave a comment. Of course I pose this here simply as a catalyst for thought and maybe some of your own writing.

What do you see as the difference between Spirituality and Religion, if any? Do you think that you can have one without the other?

  1. Religion is an institution. Spirituality is a way of life. It is quite possible to have one without the other, although I perceive religion to be unhealthy, devoid of spirituality.

    religion is ok 🙂
acceptance is key even to non-religious people or we project negativity.

everything you know is either wrong or right, or both.
there are many sides to look at.

I believe most religions have many truths, christianity has, islam has too, hinduism has too

especially the truth about us not being in control of own thoughts and senses!
we live being controlled by our senses, or most people do

feel free to visit my page, it has info on spirituality, astrology, awakening, shamanism (the idea that illness / unhappiness starts in the soul)

if we got our soul we are happy 🙂 , we see the world as the miracle it is, and every living creature like this too

    peace
